KOOKIE STYLE: TRAVEL DESTINATION NYC!!!

1. Perfectly named after where I'm heading this Summer, "The City" flat is perfect for going through airport security without the hassle of a strappy shoe (I've been there) and great for walking around JFK. You're feet will thank you. (GAP $23.99)
Not your style? If you are into sequins and gold tones, I highly recommend checking out Joan Boyce "Mandy" flat... It comes in a convenient travel pouch and will make your feet happy without losing the girly glitz. (Joan Boyce, $80)

2. I found these cute vintage-inspired bottles at the Supermarket and I just had to have them! Perfect for travel, they adhere to the 3oz. liquid standard.

3. The Tank Dress
This dress is very versatile, and it's certainly a refreshing option to the long MAXI. The length is perfect for showing off a good pair of legs or heels; my favorite look for this dress is paired with a pair of ankle boots and a shocking color lipstick, for a rocker chick vibe. (BCBGMAXAZRIA $48)

4. The Jean Jacket: My jean jacket goes everywhere with me... To class, to the movies, to the theatre, to lunch with friends, to Starbucks and now to NYC! Need I say more?

5. Le Romper: I truly believe Urban Outfitters has some of the cutest and most stylish rompers out there... Rompers are easy to carry in a suitcase, easy to clean and can be worn -depending on the shoes and accessories-from day to night. (Urban Outfitters $59)

6. The Neutral Clutch:
This piece can transition from day to night, from casual to sleek, and it's certainly a nice change from the oh so boring black clutch! (Urban Outfitters $39)

9. The Gadget bag: I found this by pure coincidence, but I love it... It is the cutest and thriftiest camera bag I've seen so far. (Urban Outfitters $24)

10. The Slingbacks: Upon seeing these shoes, all common sense has gone out the window! The heel is 6'' inches... Oh my! Does that mean I will look 5'10" in these? I can't wait!(Urban Outfitters $89)

KOOKIE STYLE: MISSONI

Missoni is a brand that has always intrigued me... It includes Womenswear, Menswear, Home decor , 7 Hotels around the world, perfumes and of course an eclectic Winter 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection that should not be ignored.

The first time I noticed a Missoni dress was when I saw Margherita Missoni wearing the fabulous print in a fashion magazine...

Since then, I am always watchful, keen on both Margherita and the Missoni empire... Missoni was founded by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni in 1953 after getting hitched, though Ottavio had already began producing track suits in 1947 in Trieste.

According to WWW.STYLE.COM, the inspiration for the Winter 2011 RTW collection came from of a mix of "Natural Born Killers" and Margherita Missoni's little sister: "Adding to the languid, stoned vibe was the soundtrack, featuring "Sweet Jane" by the Cowboy Junkies. That song was used in Natural Born Killers, and its star Juliette Lewis was a reference for Lucia Pieroni's makeup."

In Puerto Rico, Missoni footwear can be purchased at ORMA, located in the Caribe Hilton Hotel- Tel. (787) 721-8246.

KOOKIE STYLE: MANGO Collection "Modernist Resort" SS11

MANGO in Puerto Rico routinely offers events for their customer's delight and entertainment, like the fashion show I attended this past Saturday, April 30.

The purpose of this event was to showcase the latest looks from the Modernist Resort collection, featured in the 2011 look book, with Isabeli Fontana as the main girl. Here in Puerto Rico, Mango had the luck to have top local models show off the looks, such as the exotic Gretchen Capo (Orange dress)(Printed T with lace shorts).

The event also included delicious mango and passion fruit cocktails and of course lots of beautiful looks to obsess over!

I hope you enjoys these photos, they were certainly taken with lots of love and enthusiasm... Several times I just had to scream while holding the camera: Que bello(gorgeous)!!!
