I am not very sure why this name came to mind, I am not planning anything naughty anytime soon... But summer love is wonderful, and the final product of my mood board resumes just that. I Hope you like it!

KOOKIE STYLE: THE REVOLUTIONARY
Some people say that you can tell a lot about a woman by just looking at her shoes... Well, these shoes were designed with fearless women in mind!
When wearing killer heels such as the ones in this list, remember to keep the rest of your outfit simple. You can achieve a very chic look by pairing far out black heels with a pleated A-line black miniskirt, a black top and a simple belt.
The glittery and bejeweled shoes... You can wear with a simple neutral color outfit, such as a white dress or neutral color jeans and top. Keep the accessories to a minimum and remember to combine your jewelry to the color of the heel.
Revolutionary times in history call for revolutionary style... Even if it starts in the shoe department!!!

KOOKIE STYLE: SUNDAY BREEZE
This afternoon in Puerto Rico was quite nice... it was breezy and warm, but still comfortable enough to sport my new jean jacket!
I too am suffering from denim fever and my latest love is a jean jacket purchased at Mango! This very comfy and versatile item was paired with a vintage silk skirt and a white tee.
I've been very much inspired by Jil Sander's S2011 collection of bright maxi skirts paired with white tees. But neutrals are also great this season, so I wouldn't mind trying this same outfit with a white maxi skirt... :)

KOOKIE STYLE: Personal Style Photos-Day/Night#1
Since puberty, I've run away from cameras... And I prefer to have someone of my complete trust take pictures of me; this is why I'm a huge fan of self-photos.
I often write about the importance of staying true to your personal style while wearing clothes that are flattering for your body type... But, until now I had not shared with you, my reader, my personal style in pictures (of myself)... Well, here it is!!!!
I am very new to this whole publishing photos of myself thing of kind of making a daily diary of what I wear, but I am up for the adventure... I would appreciate your feedback, and I PROMISE, the photos will get better in time! :)
P.S. This picture was taken April 1st at night... The dress is from Nikka Boutique, the Booties are Dolce Vita and the silver cuff is from Express.

KOOKIE STYLE: Workout Wardrobe!!!
This past week I signed up at the Gym... Not that I have never been to a gym before, I've actually signed up more times than I can count, but in the past I had never sticked to an actual routine... I had not committed. That's the difference this time, commitment.
My back is actually in trouble- my spinal cord is tilting to the left, and my Doctor recommended weight training and lower back exercises to counteract years of bad posture...
Gearing up for the gym has brought back old traumas, like freaking out at the fact that I've never liked wearing Gym clothes!!! I'd rather be naked!!!! Seriously. But clothes are necessary and this time around I've decided to take Gym Fashion as a challenge, to express my unique personal style- urban, vintage and techie all rolled into one- that's me!
The next images are items that I've gathered while Mood boarding myself to a better Workout Wardrobe...This time I'll stick to stores that can be found at the mall, such as Adidas (Stella Mcartney line, yey), Victoria's Secret and Nike....I'm also including a link to an article about Jessica Biel's Celebrity Trainer, Jason Walsh- It includes a quick routine to get your heart rate & Metabolism going.
I personally saw Jessica Biel a few years ago at a Nightclub bathroom (it's weird I know) and I swear I have never seen a more sculpted body than hers... If you wish to know more about fabulous women and their workout routines, I recommend you check out Vogue's 10th Annual Shape Issue (APRIL 2011)- it's quite inspiring!!!! Hope you enjoy my Workout Wardrobe Picks... XOXO

KOOKIE STYLE: The Neutralist
For most of my life, I've worn black... It just came naturally to me-it's a slimming color and you can certainly wear it for a night out or for mourning. What other color in your closet is so versatile?
I often receive compliments when wearing funky black or black and white items. Black is never out of style used to be my motto; the Little Black Dress is a closet staple, thanks to Coco Chanel...but the truth is, after so many years wearing awesome items in dark & safe colors such as grey and blue, I feel ready to take a walk on the wild side!!!
Maybe the word "passion" is a bit too much for this new found desire of wearing neutral colors from head to toe, but for me passion is a big part of life, especially when it comes to how I express myself through clothes.
The following photos are from Valentino's Ready to Wear collection for Fall 2011... You can find the complete collection at www.style.com:
Fashion may serve many purposes, but I think one of the most personal & intrinsically subjective ways in which people express happiness, love, lust or sadness is through fashion... Fashion is art, and art always seems to imitate life.
There are infinite messages a certain "look" can convey... I've decided to make a few outfit combinations based on nude palettes to give you an idea of what I mean. :)
